Okay, so far I'm not too good at this blog thing.....I did type one out the other day just to find out this site was down for alittle while. It was complete with pictures. I will definately try to get better. Let see, Nakyhia went to the fair. She loved it. She like the animals but didn't like her stoller too well. She is spoiled rotten. I've included some pictures. One she is with cousin Stephanie & the other with Gramps. We rode the merry go round but that was it. Something about the carnies I don't like. (my job makes me a very untrusting person)

Nakyhia recently went on her first swimming adventure. It was her boyfriend, Calvin's, first experience also. They were WAY too cute. Despite the sweat bees they had fun. Actually Nakyhia got stung on her belly but didn't even realize it. She's gonna be tough!!

Nakyhia just went for her 1 year shots today. They must not have that much effect on her because she is still awake & currently playing with our dog, Sophie. She currently weighs 22.5 lbs (71.61 percentile), is 31 3/4 inches (99.2 percentile) & her little head is only 17 3/4 (51.6 percentile).

She still isn't walking but has the whole concept if your are holding her hand. She can stand up on her own but gets too excited when she realizes it & falls down. She likes to push objects across the floor & make sounds with her lips. It is time for mommy & daddy to take some control when it comes to her bedtime. She currently goes to bed later & later. She has not slept thru the night for approximately 3 months now. She wakes up crying, standing up, & holding her binkie until you go get her. The crying gets louder & louder. We bring her to the living room, rock & she goes to sleep usually until you lay her down again. When Eric works, I have spent many a nights sleeping in the lazyboy!! NOT FUN!!! Will probably wait until tomorrow night for that task. (I'm validating it but saying she got 3 shots today!!)

I created this blog for family/friends to stay updated on our progress as a family. We aren't too exciting but hopefully you will enjoy it. I take TONS of pictures & will put them on here periodically also. Hopefully I will stay with it!!

Our life

Where do I start? My husband, Eric & I were married on April 9, 2005. We currently have one daughter, Nakyhia, that is truly a God send in our eyes. We tried for a child for approximately 1 year with no success. I finally switched doctors & had a really good experience with her. We were on Clomid for 1 month which was successful but ended in a miscarriage. The very next month we found out we were pregnant with little Nakyhia Kree. She is a blessing & so much fun. She just turned 1 on July 8th. I have no idea where the time went!!!!!
